Sponsored programs services
The Office of Sponsored Programs supports faculty, staff, and trainees, University–wide, in all stages of sponsored program process. The administration team works closely with key ATSU offices and regulatory committees to ensure provision of the following services:
- Pre-award assistance with locating and evaluating potential funders, interpreting grant guidelines, developing proposals in concert with principal investigators/project directors, completing institutional review and approval processes, and processing submissions.
- Award acceptance oversight including review of award terms and conditions; review, development, and execution of memoranda of agreement and contracts; and fiscal start-up.
- Compliance monitoring including risk assessment and regulatory, policy, fiscal, and programmatic compliance.
- Post-award assistance with program start-up and staffing, programmatic and fiscal management, report preparation and submission, and communication and relationship development between the sponsoring institution and principal investigators/project directors, as needed.
