ATSU's annual Founder's Day celebration returns October 17-19 this year. Students, alumni, faculty, and staff are encouraged to join together in Kirksville to celebrate and recognize the rich history of the University and its founder, Dr. Andrew Taylor Still.

Alumni reunion activities will provide you with opportunities to reunite with your classmates, reconnect with faculty, and rekindle relationships with those who played a significant role in your professional and personal journey.
Reunion celebrations will honor:
- Gold Medallion Club (alumni who graduated 50 years ago or more).
- 5th through 45th milestone anniversaries of ATSU-KCOM, ATSU-CGHS and ATSU-MOSDOH alumni from graduation years ending in 4 and 9.

Founder's Day Continuing Medical Education (CME) Activity
It’s Hammer Time: Percussion Hammer/Oscillation OMT for Patient Care
Oct.17-19, 2024
This course, which runs concurrent with the reunion schedule, is based on the life work of Robert C. Fulford, D.O. in Osteopathy, life energy, vibration, and the use of the percussion vibrator. This course introduces these basic osteopathic philosophic and practice principles that Dr. Fulford perfected in his over 55 years of exploration and clinical practice. This is the same course Dr. Fulford himself taught in the last decade of his life. An extra day has been added to include new evidence-based information and to present the basic concepts and palpatory skills needed to understand the percussion techniques and principles as taught by Dr. Fulford.

Accreditation statement
A.T. Still University (ATSU) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. ATSU designates this program for a maximum of 21.75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Post-run ceremony will include door prizes and medals for those who place in their age division.
SAAO (Student American Academy of Osteopathy) will be offering a post-race stretch clinic. Post-race nutrition and hydration provided courtesy of Hy-Vee.

A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is hosting an anniversary celebration for the ’72, ’82, ’92, and ’97 KCOM graduating classes. In an effort to help graduates reconnect with classmates, we are compiling a reunion directory.
Although not required for participation in the anniversary celebration, completion of the reunion directory profile form will allow us to prepare a valuable resource.
