White Coat Sponsorship

Congratulations on your decision to attend ATSU, continuing the legacy that began in 1892. As a symbol of your dedication to become a compassionate, competent healthcare professional, you will soon be presented with your first white coat.

The White Coat Sponsorship Program is offered to alumni and friends of the various ATSU schools & programs so they may show their support to those who have made the decision to join the healthcare profession by sponsoring a white coat. Through you, we would also like to extend this opportunity to your family and friends.

For your convenience, please see the White Coat Program website for complete information about the white coat program, including downloadable brochure and online giving option.

We ask that you share the website with anyone you feel may be interested in sponsoring your white coat. It's a great opportunity for your family and friends to show you their support and share in your excitement as you begin your health education journey.

The sponsorship of a white coat is completely voluntary -- students are not required to find a sponsor. Students do not pay for their first white coat. Each student will be presented with a white coat at his/her white coat ceremony regardless of any sponsorship(s) received for that student. However, for those students who have received a sponsorship, a card with the sponsor's name will be inserted into the pocket of their coat for each sponsorship they've received.

Note to Students: Your decision to share the following information about the White Coat Sponsorship Program with your family & friends is completely optional. You are not required to find a sponsor for your white coat -- the university provides one coat to each student, regardless of sponsorship. The White Coat Sponsorship Program is offered as an opportunity for students' family & friends, as well as colleagues & alumni, to show their support of the student's decision to become a healthcare professional by sponsoring their white coat.
