Volunteers sought for research study

A.T. Still University’s Audiology and the Physical Therapy departments are seeking volunteers to participate in an upcoming research study. Volunteers can be University students, employees, family members and/or persons from the community. All volunteers must meet the following criteria:

Participants may also be excluded if they have any ophthalmologic, neurologic, or psychological disorders and/or any other health conditions that could potentially cause temporary distress to the participant or affect data collection.

The study will consist of two phases. The first phase will require some basic vestibular (balance) evaluation, and the second phase will require some motor imagery exercises. Participants should expect to dedicate approximately 60 minutes for phase one evaluations and 60 minutes for phase two evaluations.

Both phases will take place at the ATSU audiology clinic (AFA Balance and Hearing Institute) which is located at 4838 East Baseline Road, Suite #126, Mesa, Ariz.

If interested in participating in the study, please email Mia Pozzanghera.
