Tech Corner: OpenAthens access

Do I Get Access?

To tell at a glance if you’re already logged in as an ATSU user who has access to the selected resource, check for our organization’s name typically located in the upper right corner of the window as highlighted in the example below:

Finding Another Option Through OpenAthens

If you’re having trouble accessing subscribed content or if you started your search outside of the library’s website and just want to check if an access option exists for ATSU users, try these steps:

  1. Look for an OpenAthens login option on the publisher’s website. If one is available, select it.

  2. You might be asked to select the OpenAthens federation or group before finding our organization name (if not, move on to the next step).

  3. Into the organization search box, type: Still

  4. Select A.T. Still University. If you aren’t already logged in to the ATSU Portal, a new login option will appear for your ATSU credentials.
