Regional alumni, students, and friends receptions held in Seattle and Portland

Alumni, students, and friends from all of A.T. Still University’s (ATSU) schools came together for regional receptions in Seattle, Washington on May 3, and Portland, Oregon on May 4. Below are highlights from the updates they shared:
- We are excited to be celebrating our 125th anniversary of A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) and osteopathic medicine. We hope that our DO alumni will join us in Kirksville, MO in October for Founder’s Day, continuing medical education (CME), and other alumni activities – please keep an eye out for invitations in the upcoming months. You may also reconnect with our osteopathic heritage by visiting our Museum of Osteopathic Medicine.
- We recently celebrated the opening of the A.T. Still University Osteopathic Medicine Center Arizona on the Mesa campus, where A.T. Still University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) students, fellows, and faculty are now serving the community, particularly children with special needs. If you would like a tour of the center in the future, please contact Michael Chang at alumniaz@atsu.edu. Additionally, we are proud that for the second year in a row, the National Student DO of the Year is an ATSU-SOMA student – this year, it is Daniel Ebbs.
- The programs at A.T. Still University’s College of Graduate Health Studies (ATSU-CGHS) continue to increase their reach across the world, with advanced degrees in health sciences, health education, public health, health administration, and kinesiology. ATSU employees receive a 20% tuition discount on these degrees – if you are looking to further your education, please consider one of these programs.
- A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) programs are also growing, with physical therapy and audiology expanding internationally as well. We are grateful to be accredited for all of our residential and online programs in athletic training, audiology, occupational therapy, physician assistant studies, and physical therapy for the maximum level possible.
- Dr. Jack Dillenberg will be retiring as the inaugural dean of A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) at the end of this June – he extends his thanks to our alumni and friends who have shown ATSU-ASDOH tremendous support over the years, and looks forward to further serving the community with their dental education and oral health needs. Dr. Robert Trombly, currently associate dean of clinical affairs for ATSU-ASDOH, has been appointed ATSU-ASDOH’s new dean.
- A.T. Still University’s Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) will be graduating its first class this summer, and we recently had an accreditation visit resulting in no recommendations for improvements for our newest school. Our students have done an incredible job seeing patients at the St. Louis Dental Education and Oral Health Center, and we are eager to see them serving in clinics in Missouri and across the country.
