PT alumni gather together at APTA

An alumni reception was held for physical therapy alumni on Wednesday, January 23, in conjunction with the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting in San Diego.
Jim Farris, PT, PhD, chair and associate professor of Physical Therapy, A.T. Still University Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS), addressed alumni and friends about the progress ATSU-ASHS continues to make in preparing healthcare professionals vital to any community. Some of those updates include:
- The PT department continues to offer CE courses at a discounted rate for alumni.
- PT alumni around the country interested in being clinical instructors are always welcome. Further information on becoming a clinical instructor can be requested from Lora Davis, PT, ’98, DPT, ’09, director of clinical education.
