NEMO Heart Health unveils Automatic External Defibrillator

NEMO Heart Health unveiled its first Automatic External Defibrillator on March 18 in the Gutensohn Clinic, located on ATSU’s Missouri campus. NEMO Hearth Health, a non-profit organization in Kirksville, Mo., has written policies, investigated equipment availability, and raised funds for AEDs over the past 18 months. Their most notable fundraiser was Gents and Joules, held in November 2010 at ATSU’s Thompson Campus Center. That event raised $53,000 for AEDs to be placed in public locations throughout the Kirksville community.
