Introduction to library databases
Posted: August 1, 2023The library provides a wide variety of databases to support our students and faculty with their studies and research. To access our databases, click on the databases link under research tools on the library homepage. This will take you to our A-Z database list.
This list contains all the databases and resources provided by the library. This includes the many databases we pay for to support ATSU students and faculty, as well as free, online resources that have been vetted and recommended by the librarians.
On our A-Z list you will find:
- Research databases such as PubMed and Scopus
- Point-of-care tools like DynaMed and UpToDate
- Student-focused databases with textbooks, reference texts, and study tools such as AccessMedicine
- Exam prep resources such as BoardVitals
- And much more!
Using the A-Z list’s built-in filters, you can filter down the results by topic or purpose. For a curated list of databases relevant to a particular program, purpose, or topic, check out our LibGuides. If you need help identifying databases for a particular topic, reach out to your liaison librarian.
