Human Movement alumni reception held
Posted: July 1, 2013Human Movement alumni gathered June 18 during the week of the Human Movement Institute held in Gilbert, Ariz. Attendees received updates from Randy Danielsen, PhD, PA-C, DFAAPA, dean, A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS); Eric Sauers, PhD, ATC, FNATA, chair of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences; and Tracie Rogers, PhD, director of the Human Movement program. Below is a recap of the highlighted updates:
- ASHS has seen tremendous growth. What started out as a school with four programs and 60 students has evolved into a nationally recognized school with 12 programs, and more than 1,340 students and 80 faculty members in just 18 years.
- The Human Movement program has grown quickly since its inception several years ago, now with more than 300 Human Movement alumni across the country!
- We continue to expand the program with exciting initiatives, including an upcoming scholarship and regional alumni events. Please stay tuned for additional details.
