“Great College to Work For” survey results presented
Posted: January 28, 2016In 2015, The Chronicle of Higher Education selected ATSU as a “Great College to Work For” based on institutional data and a random survey of ATSU employees. The recognition was a proud moment for all the ATSU family, and extensive survey data revealed areas where ATSU may continue to grow and further enhance the work environment. Joe Vincent, training & compliance coordinator for ATSU, and Donna Brown, MBA, SPHR, assistant vice president of human resources, presented highlights from ATSU’s 2015 “Great College to Work For” survey results, as well as comparisons to peer institutions and top-tier universities and colleges across the country to the Arizona campus in January.
The survey results will be shared on the Missouri campus on Feb. 2. Focus groups to obtain feedback from faculty and staff will also be held on each campus. “The survey experience has provided a great opportunity for ATSU to measure itself against peer institutions,” said Vincent. “Through ATSU employee feedback obtained during focus groups, we will be able to clarify what further actions are needed. We are already coming from a position of strength as a University, and through the feedback, we can help develop solutions and raise the bar in areas where we need improvement.”
