A.T. Still University’s (ATSU’s) Graduate Health Professions Scholarship (GPS) accentuates the University’s unique mission of service and leadership in whole person healthcare. This scholarship is a targeted approach to attract and educate students whose life contributions and experiences are consistent with ATSU’s mission to serve in underserved areas.
Three ATSU students were honored at a recent GPS pinning ceremony. GPS scholars participate in the pinning ceremony in their second year of the GPS scholars program.
“We provide this scholarship so that the recipients can go back to those communities they grew up in and provide professional health care to the people of that community. This is a great way for our students to giveback to those same communities that supported and encouraged them as they embarked on their own journey to become a healthcare provider,” said Stephanie McGrew, MA, ATSU Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator.
Congratulations to the recent GPS scholars Bahati Mweze, OMS I, Justin Torres, OMS I, and Ayo Adewole, OMS I!
