Friendly atmosphere of Kirksville, Missouri, campus made ATSU-MOSDOH an easy choice
Posted: March 8, 2024A.T. Still University-Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) student Jeremy Chang, D2, found a friendly atmosphere when visiting the Kirksville, Missouri, campus, so much so that he decided this was the place for his dental education.
“I chose ATSU-MOSDOH because of the friendly atmosphere and focus on whole person healthcare that believes in not neglecting any part of the patient,” he said.
“I love the multiple events that are held in and around campus such as the spring festival, the petting zoo on campus, and flag football.”
Chang is originally from Potomac, Maryland, and graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a degree in biology and minor in psychology.
He enjoys badminton and swimming, and has won multiple photography awards. Chang is also a member of the Student National Dental Association, American Student Dental Association, and is a student ambassador.
“I chose to be an ambassador because I remembered how welcoming the student ambassador who greeted me was, and I wanted to make other people feel the same way,” he said.
Chang feels confident ATSU-MOSDOH is providing him with the foundation needed to accomplish his career goals.
“I hope to become a pediatric dentist and ATSU-MOSDOH gives me a great platform to learn the basics and form connections that will help me reach my goals,” he said.
