Faculty member receives lifetime giving award

Robert J. Theobald, Jr., PhD, and his wife, Janie, were recognized with the Honored Patron Lifetime Giving Award, which is given to A.T. Still University donors whose contributions exceed $15,000. Dr. Theobald, a 38-year-member of the ATSU-Kirksville College of Medicine teaching staff, has been chair of pharmacology since 1991. He has twice been recognized with the Staff Award for Excellence in Teaching and was the 2011 recipient of the Kirksville Osteopathic Alumni Association’s Living Tribute Award. Dr. Theobald is a native of Pennsylvania, and he and Janie have three children: Robert Theobald, III, DO, ’01; Kristen Theobald, DO,’05; and Heidi Theobald.

The award was presented by ATSU President Craig Phelps, DO, ’84.
