Dr. Wiltz receives NACHC’s 2018 John Gilbert Award

Still University’s (ATSU) Board of Trustees, was recently honored by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) with the 2018 John Gilbert Award. The award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions and demonstrated excellence in the field of community health.
Dr. Wiltz is CEO of Teche Action Clinic, a community health center with 13 locations in Louisiana. He has also served as chair of the NACHC. He is passionate about improving healthcare for underserved populations.
“I think it is safe to say that on a daily basis, we who are involved in the community healthcare field, do so because we are committed to bringing quality healthcare services to those we are privileged to serve,” he said.
