Dr. Welch Bacon receives NATA’s Young Professional Award

Cailee Welch Bacon, PhD, ATC, associate professor of athletic training at A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS), recently received the National Athletic Trainers’ Association’s Young Professional’s Committee National Distinction Award. The award recognizes a young professional athletic trainer who has made an immediate and definitive impact on the profession.
“I am honored to be recognized by the Young Professional’s Committee as the 2018 award recipient and am extremely grateful for the opportunities I have had to serve the athletic training community,” says Dr. Welch Bacon. “These service activities have afforded me the opportunity to engage with several inspiring individuals who share the common goal of elevating our profession. I look forward to continuing to serve the profession in the coming years.”
