Dr. Huxel Bliven receives NATA’s Most Distinguished Award

Kellie Huxel Bliven, PhD, ATC, professor of interdisciplinary health sciences at A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences, recently received the National Athletic Trainers’ Association’s Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award. The award recognizes members who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to leadership, service, and advocacy.

“I am honored to be recognized for my leadership and service contributions at the national level within athletic training,” says Dr. Huxel Bliven. “Through my service activities, I have been fortunate to work with and learn from many great colleagues with the specific goals of advancing knowledge, improving the profession, and delivering quality care to patients. I look forward to many more service opportunities in the years to come!”
