Dr. DeWan returns to ATSU-MOSDOH
Posted: February 19, 2018One of A.T. Still University’s Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) founding members, Dale DeWan, DMD, MS, will return to his position as director of Integrated Human Sciences.
Dr. DeWan will teach on and off campus, and he will serve as the bridge between ATSU’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) and ATSU-MOSDOH. As liaison, Dr. DeWan will continue to develop and promote excellent relationships between ATSU-KCOM and ATSU-MOSDOH faculty, as well as help the schools develop a curriculum that prepares students for the Integrated National Dental Board Examination from a biomedical standpoint.
“Dr. DeWan has a strong passion for teaching and mentoring students,” says Dwight McLeod, DDS, MS, dean of ATSU-MOSDOH. “His caring spirit and kindness have made the rigors of the first two years of dental school more achievable for several students. We welcome Dr. DeWan back to the university as he continues to empower our students.”
