Dr. Anderson receives NATA’s Service Award
Posted: September 13, 2018Barton Anderson, DHSc, AT, associate professor of athletic training at A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS), recently received the National Athletic Trainers’ Association’s Service Award. The award recognizes members for their contributions to the profession through volunteerism.
“I am honored to receive the NATA Service Award and to be recognized by my peers for professional service to the athletic training profession,” says Dr. Anderson. “I have had the opportunity to work with a lot of amazing athletic trainers and healthcare professionals over the last 20 years, and I am excited to see how our service efforts continue to move the profession forward.”
