Posted: June 9, 2015
Congratulations to Alison Snyder Valier, PhD, ATC who has been named a Fellow of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). Dr. Valier serves as an associate professor of interdisciplinary health sciences, director, Center for Clinical Outcomes Studies, and assistant director of research support through research, grants, and information technology systems.
The NATA Fellows program was developed to recognize professional achievement in research and/or education, combined with service to the profession. When asked about the honor Dr. Snyder Valier said: “It’s hard for me to put into words what I feel about becoming an NATA Fellow. Most simply, I am honored to receive this distinction.” Only the most accomplished scholars in the athletic training profession earn this distinction and are allowed to use the prestigious designation of “FNATA.” By applying for and gaining Fellows status, NATA members pledge their continued commitment to the athletic training profession and the association.
Congratulations Dr. Valier!
