Dabney receives Employee Excellence Award

Jan Dabney is the recipient of the 3rd quarter Employee Excellence Award of 2009. Dabney is executive secretary of the Physiology department and provides clerical support for the Biomedical Sciences program. She has been with ATSU since January 1981.

“Jan is the backbone that holds the Physiology department together,” said physiology professor Bill Sexton, Ph.D. “She handles all aspects of her job with professional skill and adeptness. The graduate program would struggle mightily without Jan’s support. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure all jobs are done to the best possible standards.”
