Posted: April 25, 2016Gregory Frazer, AuD, ‘00, was honored as the 2015-16 Distinguished Service Award recipient during the American Academy of Audiology AudiologyNOW! convention held in Phoenix, Ariz. The award, given by the A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) Alumni Chapter Board, recognizes an ATSU-ASHS graduate who advances the mission of the University in support of its programs, thereby ensuring the University’s impact on the community and future generations of students. Since 1982, Dr. Frazer has mentored students on clinical rotation from every AuD program in the U.S., and has held faculty positions at numerous institutions, including the University of Florida, UCLA, UCSD, San Diego State University, and the University of Texas. He is the fundraising chair for the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and is also a founder and board member of the Audiology Network, which educates the public and medical profession about audiologists and audiology services. He is one of the very first AuD graduates from ATSU, and we are grateful he has remained so involved in our programs.
