On Sept. 18, A.T. Still University‘s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) celebrated the opening of its newest addition, The Center for Advanced Oral Health. The Center makes up an approximate 22,000-square-foot oral healthcare facility and is comprised of two specialty dental clinics: The Dr. Rick Workman Advanced Care Clinic and its Orthodontic Clinic.
The 10,600-square-foot Dr. Rick Workman Advanced Care Clinic is Arizona’s first to offer the expertise and equipment necessary to treat patients with complex dental needs, including patients with medical conditions such as cancer, hemophilia and kidney disease. The clinic also specializes in comprehensive oral healthcare for patients whose physical and developmental disabilities require dentists with advanced training.
The Center’s Orthodontic Clinic was established in 2007 and features 22 suites. It offers the only postgraduate orthodontic residency program in Arizona.
Additionally, both the Dr. Rick Workman Advanced Care Clinic and Orthodontic Clinic are training sites for ATSU-ASDOH students and residents.
