ATSU’s Mesa, Arizona, campus hosts 2024 OTs in Pelvic Health Summit

Alison de la Montaigne EdD, OTR/L, president-elect, ArizOTA, Rebecca Wolf, JD, MPH, OTR/L, chair, associate professor, ATSU-ASHS OT, and Heidi Carpenter OTD, OTR/L, president, ArizOTA.

The Occupational Therapy (OT) department at A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) recently hosted the 2024 OTs in Pelvic Health Summit on the University’s Mesa, Arizona, campus.

Organized by The Functional Pelvis, an OT practice that specializes in pelvic floor rehabilitation, the two-day summit took place Aug. 17-18, during which occupational therapists from around the country had the opportunity to hear from over 17 speakers, learn about the specialty, grow their skills, and network with their peers.

“ATSU was proud to host the OTs in Pelvic Health Summit again this year,” said Rebecca Wolf, JD, MPH, OTR/L, chair and associate professor of ATSU-ASHS’ OT department. “It is the only event of its kind that is specifically designed for occupational therapists, while at the same time pelvic health practitioners from other disciplines are welcome to attend and present.”

ATSU will also host next year’s summit from Sept. 27-28, 2025.
