A.T. Still University’s service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, held its Teddy Bear Clinic on the Kirksville campus. The Teddy Bear Clinic focuses on children and teaches them about going to the doctor. Each child is given a stuffed animal to take to each of the eight different stations designed to educate the children on healthcare.
Some of the demos given at the stations included testing reflexes, maintaining proper oral health, applying bandages, and checking heart rates.
