ATSU PA students win ASAPA Challenge Bowl

Students from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences’ (ATSU-ASHS) Physician Assistant Studies program attended the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants’ annual conference March 1-4. The conference, held at the Hilton Sedona, included a Challenge Bowl, pitting ATSU against rival schools Midwestern and Northern Arizona University. ATSU’s team was victorious for the second year in a row.
According to faculty coach Kim Gilmer, MS, PA-C, students put in a lot of work preparing for the competition. “For several weeks leading up to the conference, the team practiced buzzing in to answer quiz questions during lunch breaks,” says Gilmer. “We truly have an amazing group of students.”
