ATSU Missouri employees honored at annual ceremony

Faculty and staff on the Kirksville, Missouri, campus were honored on Wednesday, Mar. 27, at the annual A.T. Still University (ATSU) Employee Recognition Ceremony. Employees were recognized for years of service ranging from five to 40 years.

Kathy Schroeder, curriculum coordinator; Ruth Elaine Pipes, administrative assistant; Kelcey Smith, education coordinator; and Theresa Hunziker, admissions counselor, were recognized as the Quarterly Excellence Award recipients.

Gaylah Sublette, MBA, associate vice president, sponsored programs, was presented the Annual Distinguished Service Award.

James Adams, DO, assistant professor, anatomy, and Vineet Singh, PhD, professor, microbiology/immunology, received the Annual A.T. Still Staff Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Annual ATSU College of Graduate Health Studies Faculty and Staff Award recipients were Hanann Tomeh, comprehensive care unit director and assistant professor; Victoria Green, instructor; Jyothi Gupta, professor, chair and director of residential programs; and Randy Danielsen, director Doctor of Medical Science Program.

The Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health Elsie Gaber Compassion and Integrity Award recipient was Mike Abels, DDS, director of dental specialty.
