ATSU helps keep it green by recycling batteries

ATSU Mesa campus has recycled 100 pounds of batteries! Lora Davis, PT, DPT, instructor and director of clinical education, Physical Therapy program, has been taking the old batteries to the City of Gilbert for recycling. “To date, I have taken about 25 pounds of batteries to the city at least four times,” said Dr. Davis.

Boxes to drop off used batteries for recycling are located in the main administration building on the second floor near the copier, the third floor near the copier, and in the ATSU-ASDOH administration building.

For more information on ways to become involved with the project, contact Dr. Davis at ext. 6066.
