ATSU-ASHS program director recognized for 10 years’ service with Higher Learning Commission

Randy Danielsen, PhD, PA-C Emeritus, director, A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Science’ (ATSU-ASHS) Doctor of Medical Science program, was recently recognized for achieving 10 years’ service with The Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Dr. Danielsen has served as a peer reviewer for the past 10 years.
A letter of recognition to Dr. Danielsen from HLC acknowledged his service stating, “As we advance our sector’s commitment to self-regulation in educational quality and quality improvement, HLC seeks to evaluate each institution within the context of its mission and against the Criteria for Accreditation. Thank you for bringing your time, energy, intellect, and experience to this core value and our work at HLC,” as noted in the recognition letter from the HLC to Dr. Danielsen.”
HLC is an independent corporation founded in 1895 as one of six regional institutional accreditors in the U.S. and accredits degree-granting post-secondary educational institutions in the North Central region (including ATSU), which covers 19 states.
