ATSU-ASHS holds PA, DMSc commencements

A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) honored the class of 2024 with commencement ceremonies on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, at the Madison Center for the Arts in Phoenix, Arizona, where 66 students graduated from the residential Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program and 52 students from the online Doctor of Medical Science program.

The ceremonies included remarks from ATSU-ASHS Dean Ann Lee Burch, PT, EdD, MS, MPH, and O.T. Wendel, PhD, president, ATSU Arizona & California campuses.

Kim Despres, DHA, RN, CEO of Circle the City, provided the morning commencement address for the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies ceremony. 

Kimberly Sapre, DMSc, PA-C, CAQ-EM, DFAAPA, ’21, chief delegate of the Virginia Academy of PAs, chair of the AAPA Commission on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and adjunct assistant professor at Shenandoah University, delivered the afternoon commencement address. Dr. Sapre was also presented with an honorary doctor of humane letters degree.
