ATSU-ASHS’ Dr. McLeod guest edits JAT special issue on mental health

Tamara Valovich McLeod, PhD, ATC, FNATA, chair and director of A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences’ (ATSU-ASHS) Athletic Training department, was a featured guest editor of a special double issue on mental health of the Journal of Athletic Training (JAT).
The JAT is a publication of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). The double special issue features a variety of editorials, research, and review articles focusing on mental health in sports medicine.
In addition, Dr. McLeod, along with her co-editor Stephanie Singe, PhD, ATC, co-authored an editorial in the September edition entitled, “A Needed Focus on Mental Health Research”.
