ATSU-ASHS’ Dr. McLeod appears on Collegiate Sports Connect
Posted: November 29, 2022The chair and director of A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences’ (ATSU-ASHS) Athletic Training department, Tamara Valovich McLeod, PhD, ATC, FNATA, was recently featured on Collegiate Sports Connect.
Dr. McLeod spoke with host Matt Banker on an episode entitled, “Combating Overuse Injuries and Sport Specialization Issues.” Collegiate Sports Connect was founded by Collegiate Sports Associates and D1.ticker, and is a digital community for intercollegiate athletics and industry professionals to connect and grow in their careers.
The episode was held in conjunction with the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), of which Dr. McLeod is also a fellow. Dr. McLeod focused on topics including issues in sports specialization, combating overuse injuries, and athlete burnout.
