ATSU-ASHS Doctor of Medical Science alumna elected as AAPA representative

Stacy Scroggins, DMSc, PA-C, ’21

A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) alumna Stacy Scroggins, DMSc, PA-C, ’21, was selected to serve as the American Academy of Physician Assistants’ (AAPA) representative to the National Quality Forum’s Measure Applications Partnership Rural Health Advisory Group.

Dr. Scroggins is a 2021 graduate of ATSU-ASHS Doctor of Medical Science program.

The workgroup provides multi-stakeholder input to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on measures under consideration for payment and reporting programs. 

Appointment to the national committee is highly selective and Dr. Scroggins will be the sole physician assistant representing the profession.
