ATSU-ASHS alumna recognized as Pinnacle Lifetime Member
Posted: October 24, 2024Sherron S. Cook, DHSc, ’19, PA-C, ’08, MS, an alumna of A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) and a member of the National Center for American Indian Health Professions advisory board, has been honored as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member by the Inner Circle.
Dr. Cook is a 2008 graduate of ATSU-ASHS’ Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program and a 2019 graduate of the Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) program.
Recognized for her commitment to Native American health as a dedicated physician assistant, she is currently working to expand access to functional medicine services for Native American women aged 30-50, leveraging her extensive experience with tribal clinics and the Indian Health Service.
Dr. Cook is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants. Her work to mitigate the health disparities prevalent within Native American communities is a reflection of her commitment to advancing healthcare equity.
