In just a few short months, Prevention Across the Lifespan has made its way around the world of dentistry. Several global news outlets, including the Canadian Dental Association, Dental Aegis News, Dentistry IQ, and Orthodontic Products have reported on the textbook’s publication. It is even being translated for distribution in China.
“We have already heard from many colleagues who find the content very useful and timely, and have begun to incorporate it into their curricula,” Dr. Spolarich says. “It is very rewarding for us.”
Prevention Across the Lifespan outlines current best practices in oral disease prevention. Its purpose is to educate students and professionals on the most effective ways to help their patients avoid oral disease. Many chapters feature case studies, applying concepts to real-life scenarios.
