Alexis Maney receives Audiology Academic Achievement Scholarship
Posted: August 30, 2017This month, A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) audiology student Alexis Maney, ’21, received the 2017 Audiology Academic Achievement Scholarship.
ATSU’s Audiology Academic Achievement Scholarship is presented each year to an incoming first-year student in the entry-level Doctor of Audiology program. The recipient will receive $2,500 per year during the program, and selection criteria is based on the student’s academic performance, extracurricular activities, volunteerism, community service, honors, and leadership activities.
Maney was presented the award by Tabitha Parent-Buck, AuD, audiology chair; Les Schmeltz, AuD, associate professor and clinical coordinator; Thomas Rigo, PhD, associate professor; Tricia Dabrowski, AuD, associate professor and clinical coordinator; Elton Bordenave, MEd, CHC, associate professor; Henry Trahan, AuD, assistant professor.
