Treatment of Helen Sparks

I have decided that telling you how Helen was treated will do you very little good. You will just memorize and regurgitate. I want you to find out what should be done.

Think about Helen and her problems. Consider her blood gases, the degree of consolidation of her lungs, her willingness to comply with physician instructions. What would you do and what is considered appropriate therapy of this patient? What osteopathic treatments would help this patient? Remember assessment of treatment efficacy is part of good patient management. Assignment: lookup and be prepared to discuss appropriate therapy and management of Ms. Sparks. (Hint: this will be one of the quiz questions worth 4 points out of 10)
