This is not the correct diagnosis. Typical pneumonia usually
has a more rapid onset of symptoms. The patient is more toxic in appearance
and their temperature is normally much higher that Helen's. Shaking chills
rather than night sweats are oftentimes seen in typical pneumonia.
Similarities between Helen's illness and typical pneumonia include productive
sputum and hemopytosis, consolidation of the lungs, and the fact she had
rales and wheezing.
