Fever: Abrupt onset last Monday evening. Temperature recorded at 100o to 101oF all last week.
Joint Pain: Patient complains of severe stabbing pain in her knees and ankles. The pain started in her ankles on Friday. By Sunday she reported the severe pain in both knees. Sally does not report any morning stiffness. She says her knees and ankles were slightly swollen and warm to the touch over the weekend, however they seem a little better now. Both her ankles and knees hurt, however, she mentions the most severe pain in her right knee. Sally is right-handed. The patient mentions the pain seems to be limited to her joints.
