“The Winter Institute is something truly special and transformative.”
I actually took over as the program director of our athletic training program the same week that I was accepted into the DAT. I work at a small Division II college, which was very supportive of me and offered me financial assistance for the DAT.
My professors each challenged me in different ways, helped me as a young leader in athletic training and taught me new ways of thinking about research. I know I am a better clinician, educator, researcher, and leader thanks to their teaching and support.
The Winter Institute is something truly special and transformative. Not only will you get to meet your classmates face to face, but you get an entire week of DAT faculty and guest lecturers from all over the country.
