Community-based 4th year education model
A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) uses an educational model that relies on an exceptional cadre of motivated, experienced, learning guides (mentors) for our students in both the pre-clinical and clinical phases of the degree program. In addition to oral health and the skills of dentistry, students will learn from, and be encouraged to become caring, community-minded healthcare providers. We expect that our graduates will be leaders in their communities and managers of public, not-for-profit, and private sector oral health organizations.
